Since 1993, artists, activists, and advocates, as well as community-based organizations, cultural arts institutions, and corporations, have made up the roster at AKILA WORKSONGS. Over the years, we have serviced clients ranging from Kevin Powell, Sister Souljah, Sonia Sanchez, and Amiri Baraka to The Ford Foundation, The Center for Black Literature, and The Romare Bearden Foundation. Our roster reflects an extraordinary group and our job is to assist them in communicating their powerful messages to the world.
